Well, these rumors are FALSE!

They are just hidden because there are no events to bring them all together!

No longer! POPBURGH is dedicated to bringing together and nurturing the Pittsburgh Pop Music Scene. We know that there ARE people making pop music in Pittsburgh and our goal is to make Pittsburgh a new pop music hub. 

I am from Pittsburgh, born and raised. I find myself working as a producer and writer in NYC and LA. If you've spent any time in Pittsburgh, you will agree it is the "biggest little city" you will find.

We are big enough to have the population and local culture to support a music scene, but small enough that our connections run deep and everyone is excited to see someone else from the 'burgh succeed.

Everybody in Pittsburgh knows somebody - we extend far and wide across the world and are some of the friendliest people you will meet. 

This is our greatest asset. Not to mention the dirt-cheap cost of living in the 'burgh. Imagine building community within the pop music scene - without needing to live in Los Angeles. You might even be able to afford to own your home...WITH a yard! 😉 

At these hangs we network, listen to and share music, and discuss important issues relevant to the pop music industry in Pittsburgh and beyond.
